Raya oh Raya

Hai diam tak diam raya dah nak dekat dah, next week Friday to be precise. As for persiapan ok-ok je lah, baju i dah beli sepasang, cukup lah tu as for my little princess pulak i beli kan dia tiga pasang, dua baju kurung and 1 kebaya, her pink colour shoe and a hair clip with big flower pink colour pun i dah belikan cuma tinggal satu lagi je, her pink colour handbag. Oi anak i sorang ni pandai bergaya sekarang, she wants everything to be in pink. As for both my DH and I biar kita berdua simple je asalkan anak i yg bergaya. She comes first, her needs is more important. As for baju babah this saturday baru nak gi beli.

Oh ya my DH finally bought a simple dining table for our home, terperanjat kan rumah i tak ada dining table. My DH and I luv to have big wide space for our little girl to run around so we decided not to have any while she is growing up and since kita pun hardly have our meals together as a family and we have our meal at a different time so my DH decided not to have any. But this year he decided to buy 1 because dia tak sanggup tengok my mak metua having hard time bangun bila berbuka duduk bawah so he relented and anak i pun dah besar so finally for the past 1 week my mak metua happy sangat2 dpt makan on a new dining table.

BTW I dah mula my baking mission. So far i dah buat kuih tart, tart gulung, makmur and chocolate chip cookies and also sarang semut, this is a must sebab my DH nya favorite and its looks like my little girl nya favorite too sebab semalam dia keluar masuk dapur asking for sarang semut, ibu i want some more, i like this cookies very nice. Hai bila anak dah puji mcm ni rasa penat terus hilang.

Tadaa........my sarang semut

I tampalkan resipi nya skali

6 oz mentega
6 oz tepung gandum
4 oz tepung castard
4 oz gula halus
1/2 sudu teh vanilla essence
1/2 sudu teh baking powder
Chocolate rice secukupnya

Tepung gandum dan baking powder diayak bersama. Pukul mentega, gula halus dan vanilla essence hingga ringan pas tu masukkan tepung gandum di selang selikan dengan tepung castard.
Bulat kan doh beberapa bahagian kemudian beku kan di peti ais. Selalu nya i akan buat dough nya one night before, leave it inside the fridge for one 1 day and bake it the next day. Bila dough dah beku baru senang untuk memarut. Isikan di kertas cawan yg kecil dan taburkan dengan chocolate rice. Bakar di over 160 degree celcius lebih kurang 20 hingga 25 minute. Senang kan.

Malam ni pulak i akan buat biskut dahlia, ni semua menu my mak metua, dia yang tentu kan biskut apa nak buat and i sebagai menantu cuma ikutkan je lah and dia nak buat biskut-biskut lama. Ok lah got to go now sebelum my boss muncul depan mata i i better log off.

Eh before i go i nak show my little girl in her uniform with her best friend in her class
