Demam Korea

Hai semenjak dua menjak ni i betul nya demam korea sampai lupa nak berblogging, boleh gitu. I memang suka tengok drama korea but dulu tak lah seteruk mcm sekarang sampaikan anak i yang kecik pun dah terjangkit. Without fail every sat 9.30pm the two of us will be watching boys over flower on channel u. Hero dia punya lah handsome, meletup tapi i lagi suka Gong Yoo from coffee prince aiyoh tak leh angkat. Since my boss 1 hari tak ada kak opis tu lah i dpt chance to listen to all korean songs from u-tube dari ke wonder girls to rain to soundtrack from boys over flower and coffee prince melantak betul i sampai lupa nak jengok my blogs tapi keje jln terus tau, tu sudah mesti beb.

Ok on home front i masak rendang ayam semalam since dah dua malam i tak masak, sunday i merambu ngan my family i bungkuskan my pak metua mee goreng mamak and monday i have to run errands ngan DH @ JP, oh ya i have to tell this. Anak i pun dah dilanda demam korea juga kan so bila dia nampak poster boys over flower kak kedai CD she turn around and say ibu look our korean show, jun pyo bu look, my DH cuma boleh geleng kepala apa ibu dah ajar anak u ni so i told him ok pe at least now i ada kaki to watch my korean show and i apalagi layan anak i admiring the lead actor nya gambar. Ok lah back to lauk nya topic, woi laku betul lauk i, this morning tinggal 3 keping ayam je, i masak 1 ekor tau ingatkan nak bawa bekal lah ari ni but tak kesampaian.
Tadaa Rendang Ayam

Lauk rendang i bukan jenis yang kering but berkuah sebab my family suka yang berkuah that is why lah its look like mcm lauk kari kan sebab berkuah. Ok lah tak leh lama berblogging takut2 nanti tup-tup betara guru muncul abis i and ari ni tak ada chance lah i nak melantak dengar lagu korean, wahaa......(crying).....

Cooking & Merambu Weekend = Penat Weekend

Oh yes memang masih terasa penat sangat2 mcm tak cukup tido and rest last weekend infact i tak rest langsung. Last Saturday kakak kepada mak metua i ada buat kenduri tahlil and mak metua i have inform her that she will contribute lauk ayam so mak metua i suruh i masak and lauk pilihan mak metua i ni lauk yang susah and mengambil masa yang lama untuk masak. Lauk ini ada lauk pusaka arwah bonda i, resipi turun temurun so i tak leh nak berkongsi resipi and i bukan nya megah but so far org yang rasa lauk ini will ask for more due to the unique taste and i takes me 2 hari just to make the kuah ayam. Nasib baik lah my DH tak keje for both Thur and Fri night so boleh lah dia layan princess i sorang tu while i am busy in the kitchen memasak.

Saturday morning i bangun kul 8.30pagi dah agak lewat sikit lah sebab nak goreng ayam untuk mix to the kuah by 9.30 anak i bangun so i suruh my DH to bring her out so dia tak ganggu i bila i goreng ayam and kerana i ni org nya pantas by 11.30 dah siap pun lauk ayam keluak untuk dibawa to my aunty house. Lepas je masak i dont want to waste time i terus sambung my usual weekend duty that is ironing baju both metua i yang belambak and kul 3 siap dah dpt juga lah i rest setengah jam untuk lelap kan mata. My DH has to work last saturday so he is able to send both my mak metua and I to my aunty house but we have to get a cab home, kesian betul anak i sebab dia tak pernah naik taxi so betul nya jakun she kp on asking this and that, ibu why busuk, ibu why there is leaf (daun pandan) sampai i tak kena gaya kejap. By 9.15 anak i dah tido its because she did not take her usual afternoon nap lepas je anak i tido i sambung my ironing and this time around anak I, my DH and my clothes. Kalau nak ikut kan rasa nya mcm penat and malas nak buat but i takut kalau2 my DH decide to go out on sunday and i tak sempat to do my ironing dah nanti makin belambak lah baju2 i so tu lah i push myself to finish my work.

Phew nasib baik lah i ikut my firasat, semalam my DH dont have to work so 1 hari kita berambu including mak metua i and adik ipar i. 1st stop, Changi Village to have our brunch pas tu kita proceed to halal food exhibition @ S'pore Expo, 3rd stop Courts Tampines, 4th stop Joo Chiat Complex adik ipar i nak beli baju raya, dia nak beli early but i did not get mine sebab my DH ni pantang betul beli baju raya when kita belum lagi start puasa so i have to wait lah at least 2nd week of puasa baru lah i beli baju sepasang ngan anak i, anyway i cuma nak beli 1 pasang je so tak kisah lah and last stop kita break for tea at Al Azhar by the time sampai rumah dah almost 6 and my girl dah cranky gila sebab penat and panas.

I count myself as lucky that my DH is a hands on father, kalau dia ada i tak yah nak sibuk2 layan anak i, the minute we step into the house my DH automatic amik anak i, mandikan dia and layan dia because he knew that i will be busy packing all the things yang kita beli. Ai sambil menaip ni i am thinking kalau lah dpt tido at home best agak nya eh but unfortunately leave tak ada........so tahan je lah sampai kul 6.

2 Hari

Hai dah 2 hari i tak log in and mengupdate my entry. Nak kata busy tak lah sangat ok-ok je sebab betara guru ni mcm biskut kejap hilang kejap lagi timbul so bila dia kluar tak matikan lampu tu lah sebab i tak nak log in takut tup-tup dia timbul lah abis i dia mesti ingat i tak buat keje asyik main internet. Wow mentioning the devil dia timbul dah, kelam kabut i jap to log out, huh kan dia timbul when i least expected it.

Yesterday night my little princess betul buat i tergelak, she is imitating my style, she amik her baby pooh and put it on the bed and scolding the pooh bear sambil cekak pinggan, baby pooh dont naughty ibu will scold you, seat down ok and behave. Five minutes later she is holding the pooh bear at the armpit and move it around as if the pooh bear is jumping agn she scolding her baby pooh cannot jump remember what dr lee say cannot jump on bed, wait dr lee will poke you. I tak leh tahan betul mcm nak meletup i buat nya tapi tak leh nak ketawa depan dia kan, i was pinching myself to refrain myself from laughing. Hai if only i got my phone with me at the moment i will definitely record her.

Mlm semalam i masak the most simplest dinner you can ever think of, kacang boncis mix with carrot goreng & telur mata lembu masak kicap even mak metua i pun comment simple betul kau masak ari ni, i senyum je lah and tell her very sweetly yang i penat, memang betul pun i penat dah tak larat nak masak yang complicated or nak kena prepare lauk yang i nak kena blend itu ini tapi ari ni nak kena juga masak lauk yg sedap sikit tak kan nak lantakan my metuas lauk telur kicap je kan................

So much better

Feeling so much better now after last week nya gastric attack, tak sanggup betul nak rasakan sakitnya so now i am back to my old habit never leave home without my medicine. Oh ya last saturday i ada special guest at my office

Saturday after work our mission is to get a new pair of school shoe for my darling kasut yang kita belikan dia 6 months ago dah ketat and school dah re-open for three weeks so kesian my girl stil using her tight shoes and her request is to buy mickey mouse shoe, mana nak dapat mickey mouse shoes and boy my girl is so.... cerewet and finally she she settle for a Rebbock shoe. My girl belum tau all this brand stuff she choose this pair its because of the colour, pink she called it shortcake shoe. Shortcake pun shortcake lah as long as she berkenan tak kisah lah.

Reach home abt 5pm and i terus masak kesian kan both metua i dah 2 hari makan nasi bungkus and sakit i pun dah kurang. I masak Ayam Palembang but i called it masak kicap lemak, resipi ni i tangkap from myresipi.com and sodap....

Tumis bahan kisar hingga separuh garing masukan serai dan tumis hingga garing kemudian masukan daun kari dan tumis lagi hingga masak dan wangi. Masukan ayam dan kicap dan air. Masak hingga ayam empuk, kemudian masukan santan (i tak empukan ayam dengan santan sebab i gunakan santan dlm kotak) rasakan garam dan gula, ok siap.

Tada....... gambar lauk yang sudah siap di masak, sori eh kalau colour nya agak gelap terlebih kicap tapi sedap tau.

Wow i bangun lewat you on sunday, anak beranak bangun kul 9.30am, well my girl slept at 12 last saturday because my DH came home early and he dont me to put my girl to sleep early and they both watch APM sampai abis that is why lah my girl tido sampai kul 9.30 pagi selalu by 8.00 dia dah bangun and kejut i, ibu wake up bu. Bangun siap2 nak bring my mak metua gi geylang kesiankan org tua tu dah sound kak i so bawak lah. Sampai sana susah nak cari parking so i told my mil mak kita gi sini lain kali je org ramai parking susah and my mil boleh understand pulak tu tak kisah lah lain kali pun boleh dtg org pun tengah ramai. Dengan pantas my DH gi Jln Sultan for brunch then off we go to Ikea

The reason we went there its because we desperately need to find storage space for my girl nya toys and books and also to look for ideas to revamp our house. After Ikea kita gi sheng siong pulak nak beli ayam sebab this weekend my aunty nak buat kenduri and my mak metua nak tumpang skali so i nak kena masak lah. Sebab dah penat sangat berambu 1 hari and ironing pun i belum buat, our dinner semalam mee goreng.

dah lama betul i tak masak mee goreng tu lah sebab i nak masak, simple and nice, amacam selera tak???

Due to my girl bangun lambat and she did not take her afternoon nap by 7pm she dah cranky sebab ngantuk so kul 8 i dah masuk bilik tido kan anak i by 8.30 she is already sound asleep and i got my own time to relax and unwind and dpt lah i tengok harry potter, tu je lah yang i mampu sebab my DH tak amik kan i extra cable tv nya set-up box for my room so tengok je lah apa yang showing on TCS5.

Feeling Better

Wondering kan what's up with feeling better, well i kena gastric attack last Thursday, yup on my fun outing day, with my both sisters. Pagi tu dah rasa perut tak sedap so i ask my friend ada obat gastric tak and i did took one dosage but it does not help that much so after meeting my sisters the pain persisted. Lunch i bedal je tak nak kecik kan hati kak long i but kalau ikut rasa mcm nak balik curl in my bed tapi kalau balik pun mana lah i boleh rest.

We had lunch at a restaurant called Zac's Cafe and it was nice but i lupa nak tangkap gambo steak yang we all ngap sal perut dah tak sedap otak pun tak function after lunch mula lah our shopping expedition. The whole of Jalan Sultan kita jelahjah dari satu kedai ke satu kedai and kak long i belikan i 1 baju and kak ngah i belikan i 1 tudung. Bestkan kalau ada kakak, diaorang yang shopping so bila tengok adik kecik dia tak shop dioarang sure nya cakap choose what u want its on me, so i tangkap 1 blouse white in colour and as for tudung i took orange in colour, actually i dah ada 1 but entah lah tudung i boleh lari ke other people's house or other people's nya almari. Both my sisters shopping sakan betul kasut, baju phew bila about 5 i dah tak larat lagi nak layan my sisters sal perut i betul2 nya sakit so i straight gi GP and true enough my gastric pain is so bad that he has to gave me a jab.

Bila balik mcm dah tak larat nak buat apa2 lagi, i did not layan my girl that much by nine i dah change her to her pyjamas and lie down. We both fell asleep at the same time i dont even remember switching off the tv set. Friday i was on sick leave but i still have to send my mak metua for her eye check-up even though perut i still meragam but bila sampai rumah my mak metua ckp kau baring je kak sofa tengok anak kau main, jadi dia tak nangis, i apalagi amik bantal terus baring on the sofa like her suggestion, pelilk juga i my mak metua suggest me to lie down, bila i masuk toilet baru lah i faham why she ask me to lie down sebab muka i dah pucat gila tahankan sakit. Around 2+ both my DH and pak metua balik from sholat jumaat, i apalagi masuk bilik terus bab tido and i woke up almost 5. Phew 1st time i took a very long nap in the afternoon with no disturbance sebab i dah sakit gila baru lah my family allow me to rest, kalau tak sakit jgn haraplah i nak dapat tido in the afternoon ada je keje yang i nak kena buat.

Today alhamdullilah perut i tak meragam and today will be doing a little shopping with my little princess to buy her a new school shoes cause she outgrow hers already and tadi my mak metua baru kol yang pasar baru kak geylang dah buka and ada jualan murah, ai nak kena layan dia lah ni to bring her there so i told her maybe tomorrow lah sebab ari ni i dah ada plan, itu pun depends on my DH nya mood sebab my DH betul nya paling malas kalau nak suruh gi geylang cause its not easy to find a parking space so we shall see, will update on monday.

Yes, Half Day Again

Yes, yes ari ni i cuti half day and will be spending quality time with both my beloved sisters. We will be heading to Arab Street for lunch pastu shopping.............. I miss going out with my sisters and having a good time with them. Slalu juga my kak long and kak ngah go out together without me due to my restriction and i know kak long i rindu kak i so that is why she organise this outing. My mak metua tak tau about my date kalau dia tau abis satu minggu tak abis nanti i kena sindir. Actually kan quite pathetic tau me, i have to hide my extra activities from my in laws, i hate doing this, not being honest but what to do, i need time to be by myself too, to unwind urgh.........rimas tau kalau think about it.

Ok lah tak nak menyeyeh about this issue, semalam on the way home in the car i was asking my DH apa nak masak eh and he suggest hot spicy drumlets, hmph ok juga kan selalu nya ayam i goreng or masak lauk but dah lama sangat tak bake chicken so smlm nya menu Ayam Panggang Pedas

mix all the above ingredient and leave it to rest kejap pas tu bake. Usually when i bake chicken i will coat the chicken with the marinate again about 2 or 3 times so rasa nya akan meresap sebab i tak marinate the chicken overnight.

Actually i am very lucky that my family tak demand from me masak more that 2 macam lauk, apa saja yang i masak ok selalu nya main dish & sayur dah cukup lah tu sebab dioarong not a big eater and takut membazir and both my DH and girl pun tak cerewet makan nasi dengan telur goreng mata lembu and kicap pun ok actually both of them lagi suka makan ni but tak leh selalu lah not healthy kan.

Ok lah dah nak log out now nak sambung keje and kul 1 wohoo.......sisters time.............

Fresh?? sikit je........

Ok lah ari ni tak lah ngantuk sangat sebab smlm i did sleep early by 10.30pm i dah terbaring on my bed because the night before i manage only to get 3-4 hours of sleep. I told my mak metua mak ari ni orang tak larat nak buat keje rumah ngantuk sangat2 nak tido siang. I did all my hsework smlm mcm lipas kodong, sap,sup, sap, sup ala kadar je and good thing semalam kain baju tak banyak so tonight baru lah i will do my laundry and my DH tonight will be at home. Sebelum i tido i sempat sms my DH to feed anak i susu sebab guarantee i tak akan bangun to feed her at abt 12+. I still keep my girl at home today sebab her nose is still blocked so tonight have to bring her to the GP to get her the flu medicine.

Semalam i masak lauk yg paling simple that i can think of sebab dah tak larat nak masak yang lain2, kari telur with a little bit of twist (twist lagi kan), sebab i gunakan cube stok ayam which i mix with hot water to larutkan the cube and bila i bancuh rempah kari instead of using tap water i use the air stok ayam and pour the remaining stok untuk dijadikan kuah so tak yah nak bubuh banyak garam sebab stok dah ada sodium content so i cuma add sikit je. Nasib baik lah both metua i tak complain, lately i masak lauk semua yang simple2 but last sunday i masak lauk special tau, my family nya trademark lauk ayam masak keluak, dish ni ada lah dish turun temurun arwah bonda i and i dare say that this dish can only be found at my home, so ada juga lah special dishes yang i masakan untuk family. Ari ni tak tau pulak nak masak lauk apa, i think i nak kena tapaw je for both my metua sal i nak bring anak i gi GP so by the time i sampai rumah i dont think i will sempat masak dinner for them, hmph i shall ask them later.
