Demam Korea

Hai semenjak dua menjak ni i betul nya demam korea sampai lupa nak berblogging, boleh gitu. I memang suka tengok drama korea but dulu tak lah seteruk mcm sekarang sampaikan anak i yang kecik pun dah terjangkit. Without fail every sat 9.30pm the two of us will be watching boys over flower on channel u. Hero dia punya lah handsome, meletup tapi i lagi suka Gong Yoo from coffee prince aiyoh tak leh angkat. Since my boss 1 hari tak ada kak opis tu lah i dpt chance to listen to all korean songs from u-tube dari ke wonder girls to rain to soundtrack from boys over flower and coffee prince melantak betul i sampai lupa nak jengok my blogs tapi keje jln terus tau, tu sudah mesti beb.

Ok on home front i masak rendang ayam semalam since dah dua malam i tak masak, sunday i merambu ngan my family i bungkuskan my pak metua mee goreng mamak and monday i have to run errands ngan DH @ JP, oh ya i have to tell this. Anak i pun dah dilanda demam korea juga kan so bila dia nampak poster boys over flower kak kedai CD she turn around and say ibu look our korean show, jun pyo bu look, my DH cuma boleh geleng kepala apa ibu dah ajar anak u ni so i told him ok pe at least now i ada kaki to watch my korean show and i apalagi layan anak i admiring the lead actor nya gambar. Ok lah back to lauk nya topic, woi laku betul lauk i, this morning tinggal 3 keping ayam je, i masak 1 ekor tau ingatkan nak bawa bekal lah ari ni but tak kesampaian.
Tadaa Rendang Ayam

Lauk rendang i bukan jenis yang kering but berkuah sebab my family suka yang berkuah that is why lah its look like mcm lauk kari kan sebab berkuah. Ok lah tak leh lama berblogging takut2 nanti tup-tup betara guru muncul abis i and ari ni tak ada chance lah i nak melantak dengar lagu korean, wahaa......(crying).....

Cooking & Merambu Weekend = Penat Weekend

Oh yes memang masih terasa penat sangat2 mcm tak cukup tido and rest last weekend infact i tak rest langsung. Last Saturday kakak kepada mak metua i ada buat kenduri tahlil and mak metua i have inform her that she will contribute lauk ayam so mak metua i suruh i masak and lauk pilihan mak metua i ni lauk yang susah and mengambil masa yang lama untuk masak. Lauk ini ada lauk pusaka arwah bonda i, resipi turun temurun so i tak leh nak berkongsi resipi and i bukan nya megah but so far org yang rasa lauk ini will ask for more due to the unique taste and i takes me 2 hari just to make the kuah ayam. Nasib baik lah my DH tak keje for both Thur and Fri night so boleh lah dia layan princess i sorang tu while i am busy in the kitchen memasak.

Saturday morning i bangun kul 8.30pagi dah agak lewat sikit lah sebab nak goreng ayam untuk mix to the kuah by 9.30 anak i bangun so i suruh my DH to bring her out so dia tak ganggu i bila i goreng ayam and kerana i ni org nya pantas by 11.30 dah siap pun lauk ayam keluak untuk dibawa to my aunty house. Lepas je masak i dont want to waste time i terus sambung my usual weekend duty that is ironing baju both metua i yang belambak and kul 3 siap dah dpt juga lah i rest setengah jam untuk lelap kan mata. My DH has to work last saturday so he is able to send both my mak metua and I to my aunty house but we have to get a cab home, kesian betul anak i sebab dia tak pernah naik taxi so betul nya jakun she kp on asking this and that, ibu why busuk, ibu why there is leaf (daun pandan) sampai i tak kena gaya kejap. By 9.15 anak i dah tido its because she did not take her usual afternoon nap lepas je anak i tido i sambung my ironing and this time around anak I, my DH and my clothes. Kalau nak ikut kan rasa nya mcm penat and malas nak buat but i takut kalau2 my DH decide to go out on sunday and i tak sempat to do my ironing dah nanti makin belambak lah baju2 i so tu lah i push myself to finish my work.

Phew nasib baik lah i ikut my firasat, semalam my DH dont have to work so 1 hari kita berambu including mak metua i and adik ipar i. 1st stop, Changi Village to have our brunch pas tu kita proceed to halal food exhibition @ S'pore Expo, 3rd stop Courts Tampines, 4th stop Joo Chiat Complex adik ipar i nak beli baju raya, dia nak beli early but i did not get mine sebab my DH ni pantang betul beli baju raya when kita belum lagi start puasa so i have to wait lah at least 2nd week of puasa baru lah i beli baju sepasang ngan anak i, anyway i cuma nak beli 1 pasang je so tak kisah lah and last stop kita break for tea at Al Azhar by the time sampai rumah dah almost 6 and my girl dah cranky gila sebab penat and panas.

I count myself as lucky that my DH is a hands on father, kalau dia ada i tak yah nak sibuk2 layan anak i, the minute we step into the house my DH automatic amik anak i, mandikan dia and layan dia because he knew that i will be busy packing all the things yang kita beli. Ai sambil menaip ni i am thinking kalau lah dpt tido at home best agak nya eh but unfortunately leave tak ada........so tahan je lah sampai kul 6.

2 Hari

Hai dah 2 hari i tak log in and mengupdate my entry. Nak kata busy tak lah sangat ok-ok je sebab betara guru ni mcm biskut kejap hilang kejap lagi timbul so bila dia kluar tak matikan lampu tu lah sebab i tak nak log in takut tup-tup dia timbul lah abis i dia mesti ingat i tak buat keje asyik main internet. Wow mentioning the devil dia timbul dah, kelam kabut i jap to log out, huh kan dia timbul when i least expected it.

Yesterday night my little princess betul buat i tergelak, she is imitating my style, she amik her baby pooh and put it on the bed and scolding the pooh bear sambil cekak pinggan, baby pooh dont naughty ibu will scold you, seat down ok and behave. Five minutes later she is holding the pooh bear at the armpit and move it around as if the pooh bear is jumping agn she scolding her baby pooh cannot jump remember what dr lee say cannot jump on bed, wait dr lee will poke you. I tak leh tahan betul mcm nak meletup i buat nya tapi tak leh nak ketawa depan dia kan, i was pinching myself to refrain myself from laughing. Hai if only i got my phone with me at the moment i will definitely record her.

Mlm semalam i masak the most simplest dinner you can ever think of, kacang boncis mix with carrot goreng & telur mata lembu masak kicap even mak metua i pun comment simple betul kau masak ari ni, i senyum je lah and tell her very sweetly yang i penat, memang betul pun i penat dah tak larat nak masak yang complicated or nak kena prepare lauk yang i nak kena blend itu ini tapi ari ni nak kena juga masak lauk yg sedap sikit tak kan nak lantakan my metuas lauk telur kicap je kan................

So much better

Feeling so much better now after last week nya gastric attack, tak sanggup betul nak rasakan sakitnya so now i am back to my old habit never leave home without my medicine. Oh ya last saturday i ada special guest at my office

Saturday after work our mission is to get a new pair of school shoe for my darling kasut yang kita belikan dia 6 months ago dah ketat and school dah re-open for three weeks so kesian my girl stil using her tight shoes and her request is to buy mickey mouse shoe, mana nak dapat mickey mouse shoes and boy my girl is so.... cerewet and finally she she settle for a Rebbock shoe. My girl belum tau all this brand stuff she choose this pair its because of the colour, pink she called it shortcake shoe. Shortcake pun shortcake lah as long as she berkenan tak kisah lah.

Reach home abt 5pm and i terus masak kesian kan both metua i dah 2 hari makan nasi bungkus and sakit i pun dah kurang. I masak Ayam Palembang but i called it masak kicap lemak, resipi ni i tangkap from myresipi.com and sodap....

Tumis bahan kisar hingga separuh garing masukan serai dan tumis hingga garing kemudian masukan daun kari dan tumis lagi hingga masak dan wangi. Masukan ayam dan kicap dan air. Masak hingga ayam empuk, kemudian masukan santan (i tak empukan ayam dengan santan sebab i gunakan santan dlm kotak) rasakan garam dan gula, ok siap.

Tada....... gambar lauk yang sudah siap di masak, sori eh kalau colour nya agak gelap terlebih kicap tapi sedap tau.

Wow i bangun lewat you on sunday, anak beranak bangun kul 9.30am, well my girl slept at 12 last saturday because my DH came home early and he dont me to put my girl to sleep early and they both watch APM sampai abis that is why lah my girl tido sampai kul 9.30 pagi selalu by 8.00 dia dah bangun and kejut i, ibu wake up bu. Bangun siap2 nak bring my mak metua gi geylang kesiankan org tua tu dah sound kak i so bawak lah. Sampai sana susah nak cari parking so i told my mil mak kita gi sini lain kali je org ramai parking susah and my mil boleh understand pulak tu tak kisah lah lain kali pun boleh dtg org pun tengah ramai. Dengan pantas my DH gi Jln Sultan for brunch then off we go to Ikea

The reason we went there its because we desperately need to find storage space for my girl nya toys and books and also to look for ideas to revamp our house. After Ikea kita gi sheng siong pulak nak beli ayam sebab this weekend my aunty nak buat kenduri and my mak metua nak tumpang skali so i nak kena masak lah. Sebab dah penat sangat berambu 1 hari and ironing pun i belum buat, our dinner semalam mee goreng.

dah lama betul i tak masak mee goreng tu lah sebab i nak masak, simple and nice, amacam selera tak???

Due to my girl bangun lambat and she did not take her afternoon nap by 7pm she dah cranky sebab ngantuk so kul 8 i dah masuk bilik tido kan anak i by 8.30 she is already sound asleep and i got my own time to relax and unwind and dpt lah i tengok harry potter, tu je lah yang i mampu sebab my DH tak amik kan i extra cable tv nya set-up box for my room so tengok je lah apa yang showing on TCS5.

Feeling Better

Wondering kan what's up with feeling better, well i kena gastric attack last Thursday, yup on my fun outing day, with my both sisters. Pagi tu dah rasa perut tak sedap so i ask my friend ada obat gastric tak and i did took one dosage but it does not help that much so after meeting my sisters the pain persisted. Lunch i bedal je tak nak kecik kan hati kak long i but kalau ikut rasa mcm nak balik curl in my bed tapi kalau balik pun mana lah i boleh rest.

We had lunch at a restaurant called Zac's Cafe and it was nice but i lupa nak tangkap gambo steak yang we all ngap sal perut dah tak sedap otak pun tak function after lunch mula lah our shopping expedition. The whole of Jalan Sultan kita jelahjah dari satu kedai ke satu kedai and kak long i belikan i 1 baju and kak ngah i belikan i 1 tudung. Bestkan kalau ada kakak, diaorang yang shopping so bila tengok adik kecik dia tak shop dioarang sure nya cakap choose what u want its on me, so i tangkap 1 blouse white in colour and as for tudung i took orange in colour, actually i dah ada 1 but entah lah tudung i boleh lari ke other people's house or other people's nya almari. Both my sisters shopping sakan betul kasut, baju phew bila about 5 i dah tak larat lagi nak layan my sisters sal perut i betul2 nya sakit so i straight gi GP and true enough my gastric pain is so bad that he has to gave me a jab.

Bila balik mcm dah tak larat nak buat apa2 lagi, i did not layan my girl that much by nine i dah change her to her pyjamas and lie down. We both fell asleep at the same time i dont even remember switching off the tv set. Friday i was on sick leave but i still have to send my mak metua for her eye check-up even though perut i still meragam but bila sampai rumah my mak metua ckp kau baring je kak sofa tengok anak kau main, jadi dia tak nangis, i apalagi amik bantal terus baring on the sofa like her suggestion, pelilk juga i my mak metua suggest me to lie down, bila i masuk toilet baru lah i faham why she ask me to lie down sebab muka i dah pucat gila tahankan sakit. Around 2+ both my DH and pak metua balik from sholat jumaat, i apalagi masuk bilik terus bab tido and i woke up almost 5. Phew 1st time i took a very long nap in the afternoon with no disturbance sebab i dah sakit gila baru lah my family allow me to rest, kalau tak sakit jgn haraplah i nak dapat tido in the afternoon ada je keje yang i nak kena buat.

Today alhamdullilah perut i tak meragam and today will be doing a little shopping with my little princess to buy her a new school shoes cause she outgrow hers already and tadi my mak metua baru kol yang pasar baru kak geylang dah buka and ada jualan murah, ai nak kena layan dia lah ni to bring her there so i told her maybe tomorrow lah sebab ari ni i dah ada plan, itu pun depends on my DH nya mood sebab my DH betul nya paling malas kalau nak suruh gi geylang cause its not easy to find a parking space so we shall see, will update on monday.

Yes, Half Day Again

Yes, yes ari ni i cuti half day and will be spending quality time with both my beloved sisters. We will be heading to Arab Street for lunch pastu shopping.............. I miss going out with my sisters and having a good time with them. Slalu juga my kak long and kak ngah go out together without me due to my restriction and i know kak long i rindu kak i so that is why she organise this outing. My mak metua tak tau about my date kalau dia tau abis satu minggu tak abis nanti i kena sindir. Actually kan quite pathetic tau me, i have to hide my extra activities from my in laws, i hate doing this, not being honest but what to do, i need time to be by myself too, to unwind urgh.........rimas tau kalau think about it.

Ok lah tak nak menyeyeh about this issue, semalam on the way home in the car i was asking my DH apa nak masak eh and he suggest hot spicy drumlets, hmph ok juga kan selalu nya ayam i goreng or masak lauk but dah lama sangat tak bake chicken so smlm nya menu Ayam Panggang Pedas

mix all the above ingredient and leave it to rest kejap pas tu bake. Usually when i bake chicken i will coat the chicken with the marinate again about 2 or 3 times so rasa nya akan meresap sebab i tak marinate the chicken overnight.

Actually i am very lucky that my family tak demand from me masak more that 2 macam lauk, apa saja yang i masak ok selalu nya main dish & sayur dah cukup lah tu sebab dioarong not a big eater and takut membazir and both my DH and girl pun tak cerewet makan nasi dengan telur goreng mata lembu and kicap pun ok actually both of them lagi suka makan ni but tak leh selalu lah not healthy kan.

Ok lah dah nak log out now nak sambung keje and kul 1 wohoo.......sisters time.............

Fresh?? sikit je........

Ok lah ari ni tak lah ngantuk sangat sebab smlm i did sleep early by 10.30pm i dah terbaring on my bed because the night before i manage only to get 3-4 hours of sleep. I told my mak metua mak ari ni orang tak larat nak buat keje rumah ngantuk sangat2 nak tido siang. I did all my hsework smlm mcm lipas kodong, sap,sup, sap, sup ala kadar je and good thing semalam kain baju tak banyak so tonight baru lah i will do my laundry and my DH tonight will be at home. Sebelum i tido i sempat sms my DH to feed anak i susu sebab guarantee i tak akan bangun to feed her at abt 12+. I still keep my girl at home today sebab her nose is still blocked so tonight have to bring her to the GP to get her the flu medicine.

Semalam i masak lauk yg paling simple that i can think of sebab dah tak larat nak masak yang lain2, kari telur with a little bit of twist (twist lagi kan), sebab i gunakan cube stok ayam which i mix with hot water to larutkan the cube and bila i bancuh rempah kari instead of using tap water i use the air stok ayam and pour the remaining stok untuk dijadikan kuah so tak yah nak bubuh banyak garam sebab stok dah ada sodium content so i cuma add sikit je. Nasib baik lah both metua i tak complain, lately i masak lauk semua yang simple2 but last sunday i masak lauk special tau, my family nya trademark lauk ayam masak keluak, dish ni ada lah dish turun temurun arwah bonda i and i dare say that this dish can only be found at my home, so ada juga lah special dishes yang i masakan untuk family. Ari ni tak tau pulak nak masak lauk apa, i think i nak kena tapaw je for both my metua sal i nak bring anak i gi GP so by the time i sampai rumah i dont think i will sempat masak dinner for them, hmph i shall ask them later.

Zombie

Ya Allah ngantuk nya tak leh tahan, my little princess is under the weather again, flu and tak tido nyenyak sebab blocked nose so bila dah merengek iby & babah pun tak leh tido. I think i cuma manage to get abt 3 to 4 hrs of sleep and right now i will do anything just to get a good nap tapi apa kan daya at the office cant do that but may be i will just doze off kejap lah.

My mak metua pun baru kol tadi informing me that anak i dah deman, hai kesian baru start sekolah and she luv school dah kena ponteng. This morning when i told that she did not have to go to school but she insist that she wants to no bu audrey go to school, so i iya kan je lah takut nanti melalak tak tentu pasal nanti abis nyai dia tak leh handle.

Ok lah will update again besok kalau kesampaian, nak doze kejap.......... je since betara guru tak ada.......

Phew Yo

Phew Yo ari ni busy betul beb, baru lah dpt nak singgah kak blog jap untuk berblogging, itu pun betara guru dah kluar jap je so celok lah kejap. Nothing much to update cuma my little princess came to me and make me terperanjat beruk semalam petang after her babah went off for his part time job and i ngah did ironing baju both metua i:

Audrey : bu go toy r us bu
Me : why do you need to go to toy r us
Audrey : my toys finish bu
Me : what do you mean your toys finish, u got a lot of toys, how about yr drum, yr slide, yr car, yr blocks
Audrey : no bu finish already (i think what she meant she got no new toys to play with)
Me : we will go some other time ok so can u play with the toys that you have first
Audrey : ok bu
Audrey : bu go toys r us buy ballon (she come to me agn aft abt 5 mins of playing)
Me : u dont need to go to toys r us to buy ballon and u still have ballon that you have not blow
Audrey : ok bu can we go buy little bear gummies
Me : you can call babah later and he will get it for you
Audrey : ok bu, yayi play horsey (she is screaming now, looking for her yayi)

Ya ampun what my girl says is so familiar and that is me, dulu bila i nak shopping je i will my DH, dear i nak beli baju ah, baju i dah abis and now my little darling come to me and say the exact same thing, ni baru toys nanti kalau dah besar and dah pandai melawa, oh god i dont even want to think about it and pandai pulak tu she finds reason why she needs to go toy r us. My girl is growing up too fast too soon...........

Half Day

Today our office operates half a day due to company retreat at Changi Aloha. Lepas i mengupdate i akan abis kan keje yang i termampu pas tu nak kluar jap gi beli barang for the games items that we will be playing today.

Ok as promised smlm i enclose gambar anak i nya bag collection tak banyak lah but i can forsee kan she is going to have more of these bags.

In the picture u can see 4 bag but actually she has five, i pun tak tau mana dah my princess keep her the other strawberry shortcake bag. My mak metua commented that even anak i nya teacher pun comment that my girl has a lot of bag. Like mum like daughter lah. Semalam i masak lauk ayam (like duh, i tak akan masak lauk lain melainkan ayam) but not kicap but kari but with a bit of twist, kepala i ngah full of twisting idea agaknya.

Tumis kayu manis kemudian masukkan bahan kisar dan tumis hingga terbit minyak. Masukkan rempah kari dan tomato puree. Masukkan ayam dan biarkan seketika, kemudian masukkan air, kentang dan susu cair dan masak hingga ayam empuk. Jgn lupa bubuh garam. Siap untuk ngap.

Ok lah have to stop berblogging now, keje i tengah menunggu dah memanggil nama i, die, die must finish by today!!

Busy Day

Wow semalam i betul nya ribut, busy betul banyak betul kerja yg nak kena bereskan sampaikan tak sempat nak jengok2 blog. Home front keadaan biasa je nothing special happening cuma skg i dah kekeringan idea apa nak masak. Both my DH and mak metua ni suka makan ayam as for me ngan pak metua i we both suka makan lauk yg simple2 style kampung. So bila i nak masak ikut tekak i both my DH and his mum tak makan so nak tak nak, kena ikut tekak diaorang sebab betara guru ni cerewet sikit but kalau pak metua i semua dia lantak no fuss. Smlm my DH tak keje mlm and he fetch me from work, terus amik anak i gi NTUC beli susu and guess what my little princess have 1 more thing in common with me, she got a weakenss for bag, as of now my princess ada 2 strawberry shortcake bag, 1 hippo bag and 1 thomas the train bag and smlm she wants barney bag (malam nanti i akan susun all her bags and amik gambar) so we let her have it. Sampai rumah my mak metua commented

Mil : ai beli bag lagi
DH :ah ah ikut ibu lah ni gila bag
Me : Oi ckp baik sikit eh
DH : betul pe, u kan gila bag cuma skg ni i stop u from buying it kalau tidak abis

I diam tak nak comment, actually what my DH say its true, actually i dah banyak give up a lot of things like buying bags and shoes, wow dulu sebelum ada my girl jgn ckp nampak je beli, sampaikan my DH ckp yr timberland boots u tu dah panggil u tau suruh u pakai dia, masa beli tu tak ingat tau how often i will put on the boots, i beli on impulse $299 for a pair of boots and now i cannot remember when is the last time i pun on the boot. But since dah ada my little girl i dah banyak mellow i dah tak beli on impulse and b4 i beli anything i will pause and think do i need it or i just want it, its a two different thing and normally i will refrain from buying things that i already have, simpan duit tu untuk anak lebih baik. I pun dah lama tak shopping cause i dont see the needs, baju i pun banyak so pakai apa yang ada and i dah discuss ngan my DH hari raya i cuma nak beli 1 pasang baju je for 1st day sepasang ngan anak i and i will pakai baju2 yang lama. Kita ni kan dah puas rasa hari raya so tak yah lah nak tukar baju sampai lima pasang and kasut and bag pun tak yah lah nak beli yang baru, kalau kita pakai yg lama bukan tak raya, raya juga kan. I bukan nya sour grapes but i think that i really have to spent my money wisely. My kak long inform me that she has fork out $55k for her eldest daughter nya uni education, bila i dengar huh, banyak nya boleh tak aku simpan sampai banyak gitu so i really have to start saving from now untuk anak i and not forgetting i jaga dua org tua and bila-bila both metua i boleh break down and sekarang medical fees bukan nya murah beb so lagi-lagi lah i nak kena pandai jimat cermat. Lagipun kita dah cukup rasa ni semua and now its my girl nya time, biar dia yang look cantik and cute on hari raya, biar my baby yang bertukar baju berpasang2, kasut, hair clip and etc... as for ibu and babah biasa je tak yah lah nak glamour2. Ok enough elaboration, smlm i masak kicap ayam again but ada kelainan sikit.

1 cube ayam - optional (kalau tak nak guna boleh bubuh gula and garam utuk sedapkan rasa but i think the cube ayam dah cukup untuk melazatkan rasa sebab i dont use garam or gula)

Tumis bahan hiris sampai layu masukan tomato sos, kicap and air. Bila rasa dah sebati masukan ayam and kentang. Bila dah sebati masukan tomato and daun sup tutup api. BTW semalam i did add on fish ball in it since ada lebihan kalau tak masak nanti sayang terbuang.

Dah siap, my mil did commented selalu sangat kau masak lauk kicap, i senyum je lah, sori mak sal senang lah mak, cepat di masak, audrey pun boleh makan sebab tak pedas. Sebut je nama anak i mak metua i sure diam punya tak banyak comment. This morning i tengok abis juga lauk aku ye ingat tak laku, ai skg tengah perah otak apa nak masak mlm ni.................

Long Weekend

Hmph we do i start, ok lah i breakdown by day - Friday - DH dont have to work mlm but he's been busy up and down from office to ECP so since he is there, he fetch me home from work, as planned we will fetch our princess dulu pas tu gi pasar malam and we manage to get two towels for her hello kitty and strawberry shortcake she's been bugging us for these two but still did not manage to get her a mickey mouse pyjamas, hai mana nak dpt dah been to the boutique tak ada, kak pasar malam pun tak ada but she got her mickey mouse sticker book.

Saturday - we spent whole day at east coast sebab MND family day, early morning i dah kena bangun to goreng mee by 10.30 we are there. My DH busy helping with the event so tak dpt nak layan his princess sangat nasib baik lah ada pak metua i so dia lah yang layan anak i play sand and out of so many things i brought along i lupa nak bawak camera so tak dpt nak tangkap gambar anak i play sand and flying her kite and she luv it, she manage to get 1/2 nap after much coaxing from me but anak i ni ada radar babah dia tau b4 my DH perform on stage ngan his friends my girl bangun and she keep on calling babah sing, babah sing. Sampai rumah abt 8.30 aduh lepak giler, tak ada energy nak do anything, ingat nak do my ironing tapi dah tak larat, bila my girl tido and i pun sekaki tido and kita anak beranak woke up at 9.30 next morning.

Sunday - woke up, settle laundry pastu mak metua ajak gi pasar so off we go to Geylang, mak metua i kata the new market dah open so layankan dia lah sampai sana blum buka so we end up having brunch at Arab street then marketing at our new favourite place sheng siong at serangoon road, tempat nya best, bersih giler unlike the old one. Sampai rumah unpack all the groceries and my top priority my ironing woa banyak giler beb so my DH suggest order pizza je lah and i totally agree 100%, wah dah 3 hari dapur i tak berasap, since my family not complianing i pun diam je ler.

Semalam i cuti, Audrey ada appt ngan her PD and is a family day for us. Spent the whole day with her and enjoy her company very much, her singing, her talking and arguing with her dad and smlm tak masak lagi, my pak metua dah jual 5 basikal so dia belanja makan, phew 4 hari beb i amik cuti masak, best, best kalau every week cam ni kan best................

Mood Malas Melanda

Ok i know i baru update yg i suka banget masak-memasak but semalam ada outburst kak office so bila kemarahan i dah meluap-luap jadi mood untuk buat segala benda terus hilang. Actually pagi lagi i dah plan yang i nak masak acar telur puyuh so the plan is sampai je rumah i nak capai anak i terus bring her to giant and beli bahan lauk since mood malas dah melanda and otak terus blank.

Sampai rumah i rilek dulu ngan anak inside the room then about 10mins later mak metua i dah sound anak kau belum makan tau cepat lah masak, alamak betara guru dah monitor baik cepat nanti tak pasal-pasal kena sindir, masuk dapur and i stare at the chicken, apa aku nak masak eh? ya Allah otak buntu, fikir punya fikir ah dont care lah i masak the world's most simple ayam kicap:

Tumis bawang besar hingga layu masukan bahan tumbuk dan tumis lagi hingga garing and naik bau. Masukan ayam biarkan seketika, masukan air and kicap and masak hingga ayam empok. Masukan cube ayam. I tak bubuh garam or gula sebab kicap dan cube ayam dah ada perisa.

Betul tak simple giler kan even mak metua i pun tanya

Mil : Kau masak apa
Me : Kicap ayam mak
Mil : Oh!! (she is curios now bila tengok periuk)

Dalam hati alamak how eh kalau tak ada org makan, sayang ayam 1 ekor, ah tak kisah lah kalau tak abis besok bawak bekal. Lepas mandi i terus suap anak i and by the look on her face she luv it, sampai 2 potong ayam and nasi pun banyak princess i makan. And guess what when i nak panaskan lauk ayam this morning terperanjat beruk betul i, ayam tinggal 3 potong je, wah laku juga lauk malas aku eh. I pesan my pak metua this morning to buy lunch for mak metua i sebab i tak sempat nak masak this morning.

Tonight my DH tak keje and he will be fetching me from office pas tu terus amik darling i and kita nak gi pasar malam dekat rumah i so tak yah masak, YES!!!

Penat but Partly Enjoying It

Pelik kan my caption, Penat - i betul-betul-betul nya penat for the past 3 weeks enjin i sentiasa on dari pagi hingga lah malam. From office work to housework non stop. Every morning i will rush to do as much as possible and rasanya kalau lah i dapat drag the time i would.

Ok the enjoying part, masak. It has always been my passion, i suka skali masak dari dulu sampai sekarang, penat macam pun i still enjoy cooking, its like a stress reliever for me, from the amount of concentration i put in and not forgetting the luv of cooking for my family, i just cannot explain, bila i tumis the rempah ratus and the aroma comes from it hai sungguh menyelerakan and satisfying. The end results came when my family taste the food and seeing them rasa kenyang and hearing them burping rasa nya macam best gitu. But i do have my moments terasa malas nak masak, i am still a human kan. One thing funny is i tak makan apa yang i masak, kelakar kan especially hari raya when i have to slave in the kitchen satu hari masak macam2 lauk tapi i akan masak lauk bening for myself. Entah lah i just luv and enjoy masak but i tak makan cukup setakat untuk rasakan lauk tu seimbang ke tidak rasa nya tapi i wont amik nasi and ceduk lauk untuk makan. Ada lah juga sometimes i makan apa yang i masak but very seldom, u all must be wondering what's my dinner kan, two slice of bread and a cup of milo dah itu je. Tapi lately ni i enjoy my time at the kitchen but ada one hiccups, my little princess. Kesian dia, dah lah her babah has been working 5 nights in a row so bila i balik she wants me to be and play with her but i am unable to do it so u all should see my action in the kitchen macam lipas kodong. Semalam pak metua i nak makan mee soto and mak metua i pulak kari kepala ikan, wah good appetitite betul metua i dua2 ni and i start masak kul 6.50 and i finish exactly one hour. After that Audrey's time. I am at her beck and call giving my little princess all the attention.

Our special moments is bed time, i will switch on the dvd ikut selera my princess lah apa yang dia nak tonton and we both curl up on the bed under the sheets and me holding my princess close to my heart and my baby fallng asleep in my arms while i gently tepuk2 my little darling to sleep and bila anak i tido i will never fail to stare at her face and just stare at the small cute face of hers and thanking ALLAH for giving me the chance to be her mum, all the sleepless looking after her is all worth it, if you ask me will i do it all over again then my answer is YES!!!

Back to Norm

Things are back to normal at home front, i tak nak layan sangat ngan kerenah mak metua i, dia dah tua, esok2 nanti bila i dah tua agaknya pun sama juga but InsyaAllah i will try my best not to be like her. The past two days she has been helping me to do a little bit of the housework, like putting away the dishes, tidy up the living and sapu rumah so i tak yah lah nak sapu rumah i malam2 but the cooking and laundry is still done by me and not forgetting i have to clean up after the cat too.

Semalam mak metua i ckp main ngan anak kau dulu, jangan kelam kabut masak. Masak yang senang2 sudah ai angin 1 badan betul lah orang tua ni. So semalam i makak ayam masak palembang, i tangkap resipi ni from myresepi.net, its senang dimasak and sedap di makan:

Tumis bahan kisar hingga garing dan naik minyak, masukkan serai dan tumis lagi hingga harum. Masukan ayam dan biarkan sekejap. Masukan santan, kicap mainis dan daun kari. Masak sampai ayam empok.

Hah betul tak i ckp, the ingredients is very simple kan and its easy to cook and the taste phew pegi beb, anak i pun suka abis je i mandi straight away she told i want mamam rice and chicken and 1 potong ayam abis with a plate of rice, semenjak dua menjak ni i anak i betul nya ada good appetitie, nyai dia cakap mulut anak i nonstop asyik makan je but the thing is she does not put on weight, nampak kecik je, tu yang buat i risau orang asyik tegur anak i kecik and i tak kasi dia makan, where does the food go to, my friend told me that maybe anak i ada high metabolic rate that is why she eat non stop but does not put on weight, tapi tak kisah lah kan as long as she is healthy i am happy.
